FAQ

What is your fee?

My special introductory rate is $85 per session. This low rate is subject to increase, so book your session soon!

What is included in the fee?

The one-on-one coaching session is 1.5 hours focusing on your (and your spouse’s) most pressing financial concerns including, but not limited to, budgeting, debt elimination, collection calls, saving for emergencies, saving for college, retirement investing, real estate, and estate planning. If you’re in a complex situation or have multiple areas of concern, you’re welcome to book multiple sessions.

I’m just not sure if financial coaching is right for me or if it’s worth the money.

I offer a 30-minute free no obligation pre-consultation to get a snapshot of where you are financially and where you want to be. It also allows me an opportunity to show you I have the skills to help you get there.

Why should I spend money on your coaching when I’m already struggling financially?

Fair question. But think of it this way. For less than the cost of a monthly cable bill, you could change the direction of your finances forever. Most folks, when they do a budget correctly, discover “wasted” money; it’s like getting a raise. Let me show you how to get that raise! Devising a sound game plan to pay off debt can save thousands of dollars in interest charges. Is financial coaching starting to sound like a great investment yet?

I’m embarrassed about the money mess I’ve gotten myself into. I don’t know if I’m ready to face it.

You’ve made mistakes with money? Really? Know what that makes you? Human. Everyone has made bad money decisions. Yes, some more than others, but we’ve all made them. It is ok. It is not my job to make judgments or lecture you on what you should have done. That serves no purpose. In a coaching session, the focus is on where you are today and how to get you to a better place in the future. My aim is to inspire you, to give you hope, to help you develop a plan that leads to financial peace.

It’s highly unlikely that ignoring your money troubles will result in them magically going away. It just doesn’t work that way. Most likely the troubles are going to multiply as you sit around paralyzed with fear. So isn’t it time to face them head on? I bet you’ll be surprised. Getting organized, laying it all out on the table, letting a fresh set of eyes (mine!) look at your situation usually reveals things aren’t as bad as you thought.

Thomas Jefferson said, “If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done.” Are you ready to do something you’ve never done?

I’m not sure if I’m willing to share my private finances with anybody.

I completely understand. I’m about as private as they come. I respect that your finances are personal and private and I promise they will stay that way. Not only will I keep your information private, I will not share my client list with anyone.

When is payment due?

Payment is due prior to the coaching session.

Do I have to be local to you?

Absolutely not!  If you are in the Central Florida area, it is preferable to meet in person for the coaching sessions, but not required. Outside of the area, we can meet via phone, Face Time or Skype. The pre-consultation session can be done over the phone.
